Really Want This to Work!

Love the Beardscape feel, motor, and interface. But assumed the blade adjustments would allow for lining up sideburns, goatee shape, etc. Bought the Zero Blade after speaking to customer service. The Zero Blade still does not cut close enough for clean sideburn lines compared to an old corded Wahl trimmer I have had for years. Even worse, the 2-sided guard (1mm or 2mm) for trimming doesn't fit well on the zero blade so I have to swap out blade heads to go from "shortish" line cleanup to trimming my beard. I really like the trimmer and want the product to work but after using for a month I realize its incomplete and really only good for trimming a beard to a set length.

Brio Product Group

Hello, Trevor! Thanks for the review. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the Beardscape, but I'm so sorry to hear that the Zero Blade isn't trimming as close as you had hoped! The Zero Blade has a fixed trimming length of 0.2mm, which is super close. Since the Zero Blade was created with one purpose in mind (to trim as close as possible), it is not compatible with any of the length guards. I'll be reaching out to you directly to make sure that your Zero Blade is in good shape.

Kind regards,

Sarah

Too much learning curve

The first time I used the zero blade I looked like I had road rash, it’s actually too sharp. I’ve heard some say learn how to use it but I shouldn’t have to spend that much time to learn it. I also found the regular blade pulls the hair, My $30 Wahl may not trim as close but it’s way easier to use.

The "brio" Beardscape Zero Blade

Really for me, while I did purchase the "brio" Beardscape Zero Blade," the brio Blackout Beardscape V1 shaver works perfect for my look, so I haven't had a need to use the "Zero Blade," therefore I would give it 4 stars, assuming based on the Shaver's performance and results the Zero Blade is an excellent secondary feature!
