Trimmer is the best I’ve used and battery life is great...however the travel case is too small...can only fit 2 guards and the trimmer turns on in the case where the guards hit the power button. Bad design of the case, pretty much useless.
Noticed they sell a bigger case with the pro model, but as I don’t need to purchase another trimmer just to get a case, I think they should sell the case separately...or even send a free one out to those who purchased the product with the smaller case that has a bad design flaw, as it isn’t fit for purpose.
I’ve seen lots of people on YouTube or reviews that mention this.
A replacement for a defective case that is too small should be sent out to rectify the problem.
Or at the very least they should sell the bigger case without the trimmer at a discount to those who purchased the trimmer with the unfit for purpose smaller case.
Hi Reece, We do get that question a lot. I made this video to show how we intended the small case to be used: https://vimeo.com/406988932
We do sell the bigger case separately: https://www.brio4life.com/collections/trimmer-accessories/products/travel-case-shopify?variant=33147611316301
Hope this helps! -Eric

I absolutely love the beard scape. It does everything i need and more! But i am new to trimming and am left with one question regarding the micro adjustable switch: does the brio without any guards cut between 1-1.9 mm? Meaning that if i were to use a 4mm guard and have the beardscape set to 1Mm i would be trimming my hair to 5Mm? Or would it be 4 Mm because thats taking into account the legnth of the blade on the guard?
Hi Jake! Thanks so much for your great review - we appreciate it! Whatever length you have the micro-adjust lever set to will get added to the length of the guard. So if the micro adjust lever is set at 1.6mm and you're using a 3mm guard, you're getting a 4.6mm cut. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.
I bought this for Myself as a bday present and I bought it despite it being a tad pricey but it’s completely worth it. This feels infinitely better than any beard trimmer I’ve owned in the past. It feels like a quality product and I found it to be VERY ergonomic. I now understand why this product has such a large fan base and following
