Almost every guard has teeth missing. You don’t notice until your beard looks like the lawnmower ran over it. Worse attachment ever. They fall off every time. Can’t buy replacement on Amazon, paid to much for trimmer get rid of it. Not happy

They should definitely not be falling off if they're in good shape, so I wonder if perhaps the set you received is faulty. They are also not compatible with the Zero Blade and will not stay attached. Guards are not super resistant. My 3-6mm broke some time ago and I ordered new one and today I just tried using the 9-12mm for the first time to cut my son’s hairs and it split in two :(

I had the 9-12 guard break right in half, so disappointed ☹️ the V2 it’s an outstanding trimmer the guards are the only problem….

I love the Beardscape V1 but unfortunately this will be the second replacement I am buying after breakage while stored inside their own case! I’m not super happy about their quality but after buying a pricey trimmer I have no choice but to replace the guard.
