I bought this clipper for my husband as a Xmas gift. (Beardscape v2) He seems to like it, but he used it with the 1-2 mm attachment maybe 3 times, and then it broke in half. I'm a hairdresser, so I've used used lots of clippers. I've never had an attachment break. They shouldn't...certainly not after afew uses.
Brio Product Group6 days agoHello, Tracy! Thanks for your review and sorry to see the broken guard! There are some things you can do to prevent them from breaking - first, it's best not to store them on the trimmer. Instead, keep them safe in a drawer or travel case. I'm not sure if you own a Zero Blade, but just to cover my bases - the guards are not compatible with it and will break if they're forced onto it. My gaurd broke and I’m not sure how. I’ve had other guards from other manufacturers and never had guards break like this.

I bought 2 replacement guards for the trimmer because the teeth broke on them. On second use the 1-2mm guards teeth broke while It was on the trimmer mid use. Like how? Bet the other one isn't far behind. Paid 20$ for it to break immediately.

Almost every guard has teeth missing. You don’t notice until your beard looks like the lawnmower ran over it. Worse attachment ever. They fall off every time. Can’t buy replacement on Amazon, paid to much for trimmer get rid of it. Not happy

They should definitely not be falling off if they're in good shape, so I wonder if perhaps the set you received is faulty. They are also not compatible with the Zero Blade and will not stay attached.
