The double-sided guards plus adjustable blade offer a massive cutting range with 32 different lengths between 1 mm and 14mm) The magnetic locking system is as secure as it is simple. The guard set includes a case to magnetically store and access the guards. All 4 guards nest in a tight bundle for convenient storage without the case. The Snap Guard system uses a thicker plastic profile to increase stability and durability over previous guard styles.

The snap guards are working exceptional at this time. This is a much higher quality blade assembly, then the previous guards which were fragile, and despite being effective, had a tendency to break if dropped or used over extended periods of time. This system seems far more stable, robust, and is easier to use. So far, so good. I’m enjoying this upgrade

I originally started out with the regular guards, it was a bit of a pain attaching them,. I was more concerned with it popping off while trimming.
With the snap blade, it really is a snap. It works well keeping my beard consistently trimmed and I’m not worried about it popping off.
