I’ve had this trimmer for 5+ years. Kept it clean regularly, by oiling every 2 weeks making sure I clean out all the hairs. Today morning I had a meeting so I did a quick little clean up with my zero blade. After coming back from work i decided to properly touch up my beard since I keep a 3-4in. beard and wanted to shape it up from the ends, turns out in the span of 12 hours it stopped working. I plugged it up and tried everything I could..the display only turns on when I connect the charging cord and when I hit the on button the screen just blinks with no response whatsoever. I apologize I have to leave a 2 star review being a 5 star trimmer for the time I’ve had it, but I’m very upset since I’m stranded without a trimmer and I don’t want to spend on a new once due to having to prioritize other things at the moment. Brio please help me out!!

After 2 years of owning the expensive trimmer, it worked, but now it makes a bad beeping sound when I try to charge it. But i know its not the battery, I tried replacing the battery, soldered and everything, but it wont allow to recharge the new battery either. I think it was programmed to work for two years and stop charging.

We cover battery issues under a two-year warranty - we would always recommend reaching out to us prior to taking any kind of drastic action, such as taking apart your trimmer. The trimmer and its battery life are absolutely amazing, I would recommend it to everyone one, but there's a major flaw, the guards... Not only it's a proprietary system instead of the standard ones it's a terrible system, hard to clip in, and the locking pins will easily wear out, and it won't even hold anymore, besides that, they're extremely fragile and brittle, mine dropped from the charging stand and broke one of the "teeth", and today it dropped Abt 50cm from the ground and disintegrated... The locking tab broke off.
I would say that, this system and the fact that it doesn't work while charging are its major flaws, other than that it would be a 10/10

I'm not exactly sure when you may have purchased, but we have implemented a new plastic mixture that's a bit more robust. It's always a bit of a challenge to find the balance between something that is sturdy enough to not break, but thin enough to glide through hair. This trimmer has outperformed all prior brand name and barber recommended trimmers I’ve owned in the past. I was lucky to have a friend put me on. Now I pass it forward when I can. Worked well when it worked. Had it less than a year and now the battery is completely dead immediately after unplugging it. Don’t waste your time with this product.
