Excellent Trimmer!
I liked this trimmer but I only used it occasionally. Maybe ten to fifteen times over the course of 2.5 years. I’ve charged it maybe 3-4 times. I’ve had it charging all morning and nothing. Figured maybe it was hot from charging so I put it in the fridge to cool, still won’t turn on but light is green after charging. Don’t invest in this junk.

I bought my Ivy Trimmer several years ago and loved it until the day it wouldn't turn on. For the heck of it, I contacted Customer Service, told them the trimmer was no longer under warranty, but asked for any suggestions to get it going again. Not only did they respond the very next day, but they continued to work with me until the problem was solved. They even asked for pictures of parts so they could try and see what the problem was. Thanks to their efforts, my Ivy is as good as new and I have Brio's superb and helpful Customer Service to thank for it. Well done!
After throwing away money on cheap trimmers for years, I spent a lot on this trimmer thinking it would last a lifetime- or at least 5 years or more. After using this trimmer every 2-5 months (and regular care per the instructions) for about 26 months (just over two years), it has completely died and no amount of charging will bring it back to life. It has a warranty that expires at two years which leads me to believe the manufacturer knows it will only last a little longer than that. What a waste of money. I’ll be going back to the cheap options on Amazon.
